Situated on the corner of Las Olas in a quaint artsy district, the city of Ft. Lauderdale embraces the inviting tempo of The Samba Room. Introducing us to a smooth stylish atmosphere with an intoxicating aroma of Latin Cuisine; grilled meats and fresh fish artfully blended with exotic fruits and rare spices.

A pleasant greeting from both the Hostess and General Manager, Tim Ludwig, is a guaranteed opening to a perfect evening. The entire staff is welcoming as you are seated with elegance and style.

The menu offers a full-fledged crowd-pleasing affair bound to make your palette reach a point of ecstasy with their tantalizing flavors. A favorite starter is The Samba Ceviche Chef Dario Marquez’s signature dish. It is a blend of perfectly chilled seafood, fused with fresh lime and spices that lie atop baby greens and roasted corn, and is surrounded with Mariquitas adding a perfect delicate crunch to a melt-in-your mouth dish. The best entrée on the menu is the Chilean Sea Bass “Enchilado”, which is skillfully pan-seared, roasted and served with a Cilantro Shrimp Orzo and a Creole Latin Sauce. The blend of spices and flavors in this dish is exquisite and plentiful. The portions are abundant and leaving room for dessert is not promising. The Chef’s Dessert Tastings are just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. The Pistanos Brulee; a Banana Brulee is refreshing and flavorsome.

The breadth of The Samba Room’s menu is impressive and the staff is always willing to help you navigate the offerings. The polite and proficient service etiquette in part directed by Derek Baum, Consuelo Bostios, Mark Price, and Gabby Silva, emphasizes their skills in Latin Cuisine and their dedication to their profession.

Their extensive wine list of over 70 selections ranging from the “South of the Equator” to the “North of the Equator” may require assistance in deciding the perfect wine. The staff is fully knowledgeable and willing to aid you in finding the perfect selection to enhance your dining experience.

Dinner at the Samba Room is only the beginning of the night. After 10pm, the room strategically transforms into “The Club” at The Samba Room. Their famous Mojitos and dancing the night away is a perfect pairing for the South Florida Nightlife.
